I expected so much more for it having such a high critics score and being a Holocaust movie.

I like that there was some decent character development and the acting was great, but the story tended to make me angry towards the main character rather than sympathetic. Yes, I felt bad his son died and he wanted to bury him, but his actions and self centeredness costed other people to die and risked their plan to overthrow the Nazis at their camp. It just irritated me. I didn't cry once and generally watching holocaust movies I'm a weeping mess.
