Review of Son of Saul (2015) by Giorgio P — 28 Apr 2016

I watched the movie hoping that it would be, in fact, redeeming in the end and appreciated its artistic nature (blurred background, everything the main character was seeing was in focus to give it a first person feel) in the beginning.

Halfway through the movie, I was hoping that the main character would just get shot and die so that I could stop watching. I really hope this isn't a true story because his utter stupidity in the sacrifice of the living for this one dead kid was idiotic.

Maybe i@' not understanding what a piece of art this movie is, but I hope to never see another one like it.
