Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Duncan H — 02 Jan 2009

I liked this film. Amazing natural acting from two little boys being outsiders growing up in the summer of 1985. The wonderment of the sixth form common room, percieved coolness of exchange students, older brothers who treat you terribly because they can, friendships cast forever and the oppression of religeons on children growing up are all themes explored.

A nice, heart warming film with a great soundtrack. 4 stars. (and I have it on dvd if anyone on my freinds list wants to borrow it).
