Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Darian H — 04 Jan 2009

A young boy, stifled by some heavily anti-pop culture sect of Christianity in Britain, is exposed to First Blood as his first film. he then goes totally batsh!t insane, befriends an amusing young delinquent and a surprisingly badass French foreign exchange student (who, like all French societies, seems to get less cool as time passes), and produces a crappy little movie about Rambo's son rescuing his father from an evil scarecrow and a flying dog with an automatic weapon.

Somehow, it is strangely gripping.
