Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Rachael L — 10 Jan 2009

This a sweet film. Kids remaking Rambo. I mean if I showed this to my girlfriend she'd probably go "awww" and cry at the ending. Heck, I almost did. I liked the visuals and the exploration of the kid's imagination. I also liked how the mom stood up to the preacher without the big monologue.

Not the best film of the year by any means, but worth your $5 at the Blockbuster or Netflix.
