Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Kenway N — 12 Jan 2009
An enjoyable film about a British kid who, after seeing First Blood, becomes obsessed with recreating the movie in his backyard. His Brethren mother has raised him to stay away from all forms of pop culture so he has to keep the project a secret.
It's a good family film but there are some annoying touches like the silly French exchange student who people are supposed to think is cool, but he's kind of like a cross between Rufio and a Cruella De Ville.
