Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Taylor O — 02 Feb 2009
One of the most inventive films I've ever seen. The cast is incredible, Bill Milner and Will Poulter have a great Stand By Me-esque chemistry and work greatly off of each other. The plotline is a bit predictable but only a little bit.
As somewhat of a backyard filmmaker myself I especially enjoyed the atmosphere of the film as it reminded me of summers spent with and 8mm camcorder.
