Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Kelsey H — 11 Mar 2009

I actually thought this was really good. It was definitely surprising in many ways that I didn't expect but it was fun and serious and funny all at the same time. I didn't know Ed Westwick was in it until, well, I saw him in it.

.. But he did well with what little screen time he had. I was most impressed with the two main boys, Bill Milner and Charlie Thrift. Oh wow, they were amazing. The French kid just made me laugh everytime I saw him cause I couldn't take him seriously in those pointy boots.

I definitely didn't expect the movie to be what it was and the last half hour or so completely threw me for a loop but I loved it. Be sure to check out the Short Film "Aron" in the Special Features.
