Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Irene R — 18 Dec 2009
Home to more than one bad scene, but the fast-pace of this film means they go by quickly. To an American, some of the British cultural things in this movie are confusing or even uninterpretable at times.
Thankfully, humor, especially in the scene with the dog kite, often comes across perfectly. A seemingly "light" movie, with some deep concepts at its heart. I was routing for this one, but ultimately it's just alright.
