Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by Cade H — 10 May 2010
This touching comedy about 2 young boys who become friends and make a movie together has its moments but for the most part fails to deliver. Some parts are very slow but as you see the friendship between the boys grow it really brings a smile to your face.
It has some wacky moments and definitely shows it takes place in the 80's at certain points. It was a fun movie for the most part but when it became serious it really brought the mood down. I could see a family enjoying this movie but sometimes you have to listen pretty carefully because of the accents.
Overall this was an innovative movie that had its shining moments.
