Review of Son of God (2014) by Troy R — 01 Mar 2014
Diogo Morgado is very good and is the best part of the film. I like the investment in faith-based films and it's hard to go wrong with the story of Jesus. The first half can be called "skipping through miracles.
" By half way through it was clear the Passion would be the focus and that is very well done and emotional, of course. While Passion movies/plays are great, this was about His life of which this part is the most important but most brief.
Son of God footage should be re-edited into a miniseries as I'm sure they have more film which could depict the earlier part of His life in depth. It's better than 24% but not as good as 82%.
