Not a romantic view of Jesus of Nazareth - if you want to see Christianity romanticized, then watch Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth. Taking current biblical scholar/archaeological evidence, along with the Gospel of John (the oldest text of Jesus), one comes up with a near documentary with few flaws that rides hard on fact and less on cinema and resolves the finger pointing by stating Rome crucified Christ because He loved humanity and thought folks have great value.
Jesus was a freedom fighter in the greatest sense of the Word...
