It strikes me as very interesting that only 23% of critics liked this movie, but nearly 80% of viewers liked it. Count me in that 80%. Some of the critics seemed to focus only on the cinematic virtues (or lack of same) of the movie, dismissing the plot as only interesting to the "faithful.
" Perhaps that is true, but, as one of those faithful, I found the movie enjoyable and inspiring thematically and quite decent technically. To all the pros who disagree with me - phooey - why did you really hate the movie?
