While it did take some liberties with the life of Jesus, Son of God did manage to keep the core values intact. You can tell that this movie is produced by Catholics as Peter is heavily emphasized in the movie.
Still, it was an inspiring movie for me as a Christian and I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it again.
