The music was wonderful but the story was lacking depth. I felt there were a lot of tears and blood with little focus on the life and ministry of the Savior. I felt they almost went too far in trying to reenact the crucifixion.

I also thought they lost a lot by using 'modern scripture' instead of traditional Bible language. It still was a religious experience for me and caused me to think about the atonement of Jesus Christ.
