Review of Son of God (2014) by Adam C — 12 Jun 2014
It is better watched with the sound turned off. Yeah, it's that bad. For once it would be great to see a film on the life of Christ that takes into it other beliefs about him long rejected by churches, like the fact that he also could have had a wife, he had dark or black skin, he had human emotions and qualities,he was crucified naked (which was the practice of those times to show the ultimate humiliation) that women played more of a lead in his teachings and developed writings, or that Peter was his male lover.
This was just the same old indoctrination generated by Christian cults for centuries. The Portuguese lead was nice eye candy, though.
