Review of Son of Dracula (1943) by Allen D — 31 Jan 2009
Not really Dracula's son - this is the old man himself (and that's no spoiler). He's also played by Lon Chaney Jr who is frankly miscast and lacking the charm and sinister power that the role requires.
The supporting cast are better and there the incidental charms of Universal's polished studio production but this is pretty routine time-passing stuff.
