Review of Son of Batman (2014) by Dario R — 07 May 2014

As everyone knows I'm a huge Batman fan, so it goes without saying (but I'm saying it anyway) I had to pick this movie up on blu-ray. Chalk up another mediocre DC animated film, not a must see for the casual Batman fan.

The story was kinda boring; I'm pretty sure it wasn't faithful to the original comic release (that I hear wasn't all that great either). I've never been a big Robin fan, prefer when Batman is solo.

This movie is really heavy on Robin, maybe I would of like it better if I didn't find the latest Robin (Damien Wayne) so annoying, also if the animation/voice acting was better too; it was rather dull and uninspired.

Casual fans may like this film, but fanboys/nerds like myself just thought it was ho hum.
