Review of Son of a Gun (2014) by Patrick K — 07 Feb 2015
This is a fun Australian crime thriller where JR (Brenton Thwaites) is incarcerated for a minor offence where he meets Brendan Lynch (Ewan McGregor) who takes him under his wing to prepare him for a job when they are both out.
Its a well acted and made film thats entertaining from the word go which is mostly down to a few well written characters and just a smooth transition into the plot. This is director Julius Avery's first major picture and im definately looking forward to what he brings in the future.
