This film weaves such a spell around you, you forget everything else. Dreamlike, heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time, Jane Seymour has never looked more beautiful, Christopher Reeve shows he's more than just Superman, the period setting is glorious and the set design.
costumes and props are beautiful. Christopher Plummer got short shrift though.
