There are some pretty harsh criticisms of 'Somewhere' but I've gotta' say, I thought it was pretty great. There's one shot in particular when he's staring out at the city... skyline in the distance.
.. where you almost know exactly how he feels. An overwhelming sense of, "where the fuck do I go from here?".
