Review of Somewhere (2010) by Don W — 27 Apr 2011
This is becoming typical of a Sofia Coppola movie - relatively mundane story told at a leisurely pace. What sets them apart is the direction, soundtrack and characters. Unlike her successes (Lost in Translation), the characters really aren't all that interesting.
And the pace is *very* leisurely. Worth a rent if you're a fan of her movies. Everyone else will likely just be bored.
