Review of Somewhere (2010) by Hazel C — 11 Jul 2011
The beginning had me so bored becasue this movie is so so slow pace, dry, & dull. But as the movie goes on you can see many scenes portraying Johnny being surrounded by people, yet you get the sense of loneliness; he leads an incredibly lonely life, almost boringly so that people might find this movie boring.
Also display the very unglamorous, at times even saddening or pathetic, life of the typical Hollywood actor. A lovely story between father and daughter especially after he got acquainted with her and realizes he needs to make some changes.
This film will certainly not for everyone. But is personal, emotional & sincere.
