Review of Somewhere (2010) by Mark N — 21 Jul 2011
Somewhere is a bit of pretentious fair; the film isn't bad; but it doesn't develop the characters or story enough.
It drops things in the middle of a scenario without actually establishing what is happening; now I'm not one that needs things to be spelled out word for word; but when the premise is as simple as it is here I was expecting a little more.
However the performances, casting, cinematography, direction and soundtrack are stunning.
