Review of Somewhere (2010) by Valeria P — 02 Sep 2011
We follow young Hollywood star "Johnny Marco" as the poor bastard goes from one vacuous day to another, filled with meaningless encounters and fake good times. The only things that bring a semblance of authenticity to his life are his daughter Cleo, whom he doesn't see enough, and his slacker brother who sleeps on the couch of his Chateau Marmont suite.
Good performances by Dorff and Fanning, solid directing by Coppola.
