Review of Somewhere (2010) by Kris S — 31 Dec 2011
About 5 minutes in Stephen Dorff's character falls asleep while two hot twin sisters are pole dancing in his room at the Chateau Marmont. That scene sums up the entire movie. Unfortunately I still had an hour & thirty some minutes of a boring & mundane movie that I wish I was sleeping through. What I think this film is trying to show is how boring & mundane the life of Hollywood royalty can be. The very first scene of the movie is of Stephen Dorff driving his Ferrari in circles in the middle of nowhere. Don't you just love the irony?
You know the term "its about as exciting as watching paint dry?" Because this is Hollywood and its a movie about Hollywood the saying is "its about as exciting as watching alginate dry.".
