I love slow films and mood films and I loved lost in translation, but there is absolutely no story here. Some of the shots are beautiful but for the most part the static camera becomes annoying because you're focusing so much on the fact that it is not moving.
Even the slow zoom out at the pool, the whole time I am completely aware of the camera. Very disappointing.
