Review of Sometimes in April (2005) by Pauline S — 27 Feb 2008
Better than "Hotel Rwanda" (and I consider that to be a good film, too). No central hero to deify, just a realistic portrayal of events during the Rwandan genocide--the trauma experienced by Rwandans and the apathy of the international community in response to the growing crisis.
Prepare to have your conscience stirred.
