Review of Sometimes in April (2005) by Aimable G — 15 Mar 2009
Like Hotel Rwanda, another devastating movie about the genocide in modern world. It ashamed me when I saw boxes of machetes for slaughtering are from China. The movie also reminded me of the cultural revolution in China, which was simply another form of genocide between the people of the same country.
The magnitude of the hatred that drives people of the same culture and language killing each other is the product of greed, power and lunatic stupidity, and is beyond the understanding of sanity. This question quoted from a western reporter during a conference after the massive killing has started explains everything, "Hutu, and Tutsi, which is the good one?".
