Review of Something Wild (1986) by Christopher S — 24 Dec 2010
Interesting to watch it start out as breezy comedy, then progressively dip into darker and darker territory, leading to a surprisingly bloody climax. Melanie Griffith can be shrill - as Melanie Griffith is known to be - but Jeff Daniels and Ray Liotta are perfectly cast, working from a smart script by E.
Max Frye. One of the better comedies of this era.
