Review of Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) by Jason R — 17 Sep 2010
Rather faithful adaptation of Bradbury's book. The movie gets the tone and feel of the book right. Some of the effects are dated and other effects have held up well. The child actors aren't too bad and oddly didn't do a ton of work afterwards.
Pryce is creepy (I think he actually could have been creepier but in the context of the film it probably wouldn't have worked) and Robards is good as the aging father.
