Review of Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) by Kestutis K — 18 Apr 2010
An unusual way for a Disney film to go. Through Ray Bradbury did adapt his own novel for it. Parts of the movie are slow and kind of hokey, but as a whole, it still generates some of the dread that I always think comes from carnivals.
Jonathan Pryce is really good here. Notice how this particular carnival, including Mr. Dark and his ability to show images in his own skin was used during the last season of Heroes?
