Review of Something Wicked (2014) by Kenny N — 03 May 2015

Another one to add to the "so-bad-it's-good" category. But actually this is not something I would recommend anyone seeing unless you enjoy these B-grade movies for laughs and the occasional eye candy which is partially what saves this entirely messed up story.

Disturbingly enough, this is based on a true story and was somehow allowed to be made into a movie. This also makes me wonder how the director got away with making this film the way he did in certain ways that, I'd rather just leave out here.

This also happens to be Brittany Murphy's last film that was made and not released back in 2009 or around that year for various reasons that are obvious when watching this. I believe the producers waited so long to release it cause it honestly brings a lot of shame to Murphy's grave, and I'm amazed it was released at all.

You will likely have much shame if you do watch this and likely want to throw inanimate objects at the screen once the credits start to roll. You have been warned. Aside from all this, it's actually something I could watch over and over again for laughs and amusement, hence my 4 star rating here which is likely the best review this movie will ever have.
