Review of Something to Talk About (1995) by Ruthie A — 25 May 2008
Maybe I am a nerd, but I found a lot of life lessons in this little trixted. How to forgive and rebuild a relationship that has been drug through the mud. Interestingly it takes two people FINALLY being transparent; stop the blaming, taking some time to find them self and starting all over again. I thought it was brave and not the typical Hollywood over simplistic story. It took guts to show up for dinner and it took humility to cook.
Favorite scene when Julia Roberts melts down in the womanâ??s meeting and exposes everyones hidden secrets. Enough pretense, letâ??s all deal with it.
