It's your average romantic comedy with a little bit of drama. I would have thought with the subject matter it would have been different than every other one, but it isn't. Something truly new would be a romantic comedy that doesn't just go through the motions.

Interracial dating can probably be handled a whole lot better and perhaps it was in this before it was all thrown together to appeal to as many audiences as possible. Slightly funny and just forgettable in the end.
