Excellent film. Ice got a perspective no other director/interviewer could have. 80% of the "freestyles" or "skillfully delivered, on the spot verses with no punch-ins" as I prefer to call them, were ill.

Mos Def, Chino XL, Immortal Technique(wooooooo!), Ice T, Nas and Rakim deliverered the best ones to me. an emcee I flat out DO NOT like delivered one of the illest verses ever and his face was'nt revealed til it was finished, THAT was a surprise.

It made me happy to see that real skills never rust(i.e Melle Mel, Grandmaster Cas, KRS and especially Moe Dee!!!). The aerial footage over NY and especially Los Angeles was breathtaking. Only two complaints out of 1 hour and 47 mins: The Eminem segment was basically a stand up blowjob.

He spit a verse of his own(meh) and then a 20 year old Treach verse that inspired him(amazing). The last complaint would be a Kanye verse that was 3,000 bars and should've been only 8. Lastly, it was fresh to see emcees paying hommage to Ice, reciting his old verses.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FILM.
