Review of Something Borrowed (2011) by Caleb B — 26 Oct 2011
I read the book so was prepared for the nearly 2 hours of whining, self-absorbed-ness that was about to unfold (at least from Hudson's role). So be forewarned. If you haven't read the book, that's what this movie entails.
That aside, I thought this movie was alright. John Krasinski is easily the BEST part of the movie. I loved his witty and sarcastic portrayal of Ethan. Favorite moment, dance scene to "Push It" with Goodwin and Hudson.
Laughed pretty hard since I can remember doing silly crap like that with my best girlfriend. Anyway, this movie is a tangled love triangle, slash foursome, slash fivesome. It's a good rental for guys and gals alike with laughs along the way mixed with plenty of moments that will have you thinking, 'Never could I have a friend like that'.
