Review of Something Borrowed (2011) by Chris K — 15 Apr 2012

This movie had the potential to be something different and good, but it chose to be predictable and just ended up being an insult to women in my opinion. I didn't believe for a second that Dex would be with someone like Kate Hudson's character, who is a dumb, annoying party girl. She really ruined this movie for me. I just felt like this movie was so insulting to women in general and makes the assumption that women cannot make smart decisions when it comes to relationships. I actually did have fun watching this movie though and John Krasinski's character was hilarious! I just wish he could have played that character in a better movie. His character and Ginnifer Goodwin's character should have ended up together at the end.

Grade: D+.
