Review of Something Borrowed (2011) by Qwertymt — 27 Dec 2011
This movie could have been written by a grade 9 drama class (read: exactly the wrong thing happened to everyone) There were continuity errors, awkward unexplained slow motion dances, and is it just me or does time not work in this movie? It jumped seemingly with out reason through seasons (the first half was before July 4th and the movie ended when it should have been 5 months later, but it was somehow still summer in Manhattan?!?!? ((help))).
The lines were laughably predictable but the plot was shockingly wrong, not in a quirky indie way, but in a psychological is-this-going-to-make-me-insane way. I honestly was expecting all of them to take off their human masks and be lizard people and talk to me through the screen by name.
All in all it was just so so so so so bad.
