Review of Somers Town (2008) by Tom E — 17 Nov 2009
Somers Town is all about two boys called Tomo & Marek who gain a strong friendship. In the film Tomo runs away from his town Nottingham and gets a train to London. On his first night in London Tomo got beaten up by a gang of three lads who took everything he had. Then the women he meets on the train he sees her again and explains that he got beat up and robbed so she gives him a tenner, then disappears.
When he goes to the café that?s when he meets Marek. He nicks his photos of Maria then runs of with them. After that they become best friends. I think it was a good film but Tommo could have acted a bit better. It?s very funny. I would tell people aged 15 to 40 year olds to watch it because younger kids wouldn?t be able to keep up with the story line.
