The nice guys really a jerk and the jerk is really a nice guy and societies perceptions explode!

I'm just being a jerk there, fact is I'm just not the target demographic for movies like this, and the good examples overcome their genre trappings and find something refreshing, original, funny or truthful to say about love and the gender wars. I don't believe this film did any of those things, but it wasn't made to meet for me so it never had to meet my expectations.

Although I do find some entertainment in romcoms that feature utterly insane people as their main characters.
