A diamond in the rough. Ernest Lehman's masterpiece screenplay has finally been found! For a first pairing, between director Robert Wise and screenwriter Ernest Lehman, this has to be their best collaboration.
Paul Newman is incomparable as Rocky Graziano. This is a beautiful film.
