Review of Some Like It Hot (1959) by Mathias S — 24 Oct 2009
Sheer comedy genius, as close to perfect as a comedy can ever be. Nobody seems to put this much effort into writing comedy movies anymore...well apart from the Coen brothers maybe. Lemmon is as great as ever, Curtis pulls off the trick of being likable even though his character is a total cad, and Monroe is typically adorable.
