Nobody's perfect is the famous closing line in this movie.

Marilyn monroe certainly wasn't, apparently she was pregnant during filming. billy wilder is quoted as complaining that she required over 50 takes to utter three words, 'where's that bourbon?'. apparently she was an emotional wreck, never straying out of her trailer and suffering increasing paranoia about her appearance.

This is ironic to me as I found the cross dressing duo of tony curtis and jack lemmon a million times hotter than her 'cause they had a personality and when I looked into their eyes, personality shined back. when I looked into marilyn's I saw dry cum and novocaine. she was messed up man. off her rocker. getting high on baby hormones.

Honestly though, this movie fucking rocks. the amount of innuendo for a film of this time is crazy. I heard monroe had to be sewn into one of her dresses (consequently orry-kelly got an oscar for costume design), I just wish they'd kept her sewn into it. or sewn her a personality.

I joke, i'm being unreasonably harsh. she ain't that bad. she plays the part fine but is out acted on every level by the other main members of the cast.

Lemmon and curtis are immense and curtis' cary grant impression as the young millionaire is so gravy. i'm not sure if he's going for english or upper class american but it's bloody great.

I give this film a 'i'm quite hot in here but it could be alleviated by opening the window but I am enjoying this flush so I will keep it closed' out of 10.
