Review of Some Like It Hot (1939) by Chloe C — 23 Apr 2011
Hilarious performance by lemmon, and brill use of contrast despite it being b&w. excellent atmosphere set in the period of the prohibition: I could almost feel the cold winds of chicago and the warm florida sunshine.
the train bunk scene was hilarious and reminded me of similar cross-country railway adventures (with not as many people thankfully). marilyn's costumes are a tad too scandalous though.
