In Billy Wilder's religion, the biggest sin a director can commit is to let the audience get bored. And gee, was Billy a bigot! Some Like It Hot is an eye-spinner that makes you laugh like hyenas in the Lion King, but hold your horses because the humor here is as far from cheap as it gets.
Were it not for all those Mob gags and chases, it would have been perfect. But, then again, you know what Osgood has to say about this...
