Its your basic love story - poor boy falls in love with popular girl who's going out with rich boy. Meanwhile his tomboy best friend is trying to hide her love for him. John Hughes at his best. This movie stands up amongst todays attempts at romance and smashes them out of the water.
Not alot of sex/violence/swearing - the story says it all !!
