Review of Sombre (1998) by Mihola T — 22 Aug 2011
This film is immoral and almost pornographic. The characters are filmed so close you can actually feel them in their gestures, you feel the love, you smell the fear. The picture is very dark, often fuzzy, never stable.
It keeps on jumping from the lights of the car, to childrens' screams, to womens' hips and hands on their throats. You'll either love it or hate it.
