Not perfect, but Kane easily exceeded my expectations set by the usual crap that comes from adapting fantasy and sci-fi to film. Don't expect a close adherence to the stories and you'll have a blast.
Purefoy is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors - especially when he's in a role like this: the tortured badass. If you liked his Mark Antony you will not be disappointed.
