Review of Solomon Kane (2009) by Jamie B — 19 Aug 2010

Again, another film where I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The story of a warrior searching for peace and forgiveness in a desperate world of evil and treachory has been done before but it still felt raw and the settings were certainly bleak and despairing.

Purefoy was a revelation - great character; hardcore. Lots of familiar european actors on display who filled the screen nicely. Would watch again.
